Superintendent’s Message

Greetings students, parents, and staff,

Welcome to the 2023 – 2024 school year at AAG. It will always be our goal to provide the best educational journey for our students. As many of you already know me, my name is Dr. Katrina Franklin and I am from Texas. This school-year will make my 30th year in the field of education. Also, making it my 16th school-year working in Kuwait. My employment in the U.S. and Kuwait has given me invaluable knowledge and experiences at the Early Childhood, elementary, middle, and high School levels. It will be those experiences coupled with my credentials that will be a great resource to use in my position as Superintendent.

AAG’s Mission, Core Values, and the Profile of a Graduate will be my guidelines to ensure our students exhibit academic integrity, responsibility, effective communicators, collaborative skills, understand and respect the need for diversity and inclusion. Ensuring our students are learning and developing these skills will lead to them becoming better critical-thinkers, problem-solvers, and global citizens. Also, we will continue to take time to incorporate learning activities that will focus on the psychological and emotional well- being of our students.

For our students to be successful it will take a collaborative effort from the students, parents, staff, and management. The staff and I are eager and ready to work with your daughter(s) to ensure their educational and psychological-social well-being needs are being met. We look forward to another great year at AAG through our continued positive relationships with the students, parents, and staff to make AAG an even better school.
