Greetings students and parents,

Welcome back to another exciting school year at AAG as we continue to provide the best educational needs to our students.  As many of you already know me, my name is Dr. Katrina Franklin and I am from Texas. I have been in the field of education for 28 1/2 years. This school year makes my 15th schoolyear working in Kuwait.  My employment in the U.S. and Kuwait has given me invaluable knowledge and experience at the Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, and High School levels.  It will be those experiences coupled with my credentials that will be a great resource to use in my position as Superintendent.

AAG’s Mission, Core Values, and the Profile of a Graduate will be my guidelines to ensure our students exhibit academic integrity, responsibility, effective communicators, collaborative skills, understand and respect the need for diversity and inclusion. Ensuring our students are learning and developing these skills will lead to them becoming better critical-thinkers, problem-solvers, and global citizens.

For our students to be successful it will take a collaborative effort from the students, parents, staff, and management.  The staff and I are eager and ready to work with your daughter(s) to ensure their educational needs are being met. We look forward to another great year at AAG through continued positive relationships with the students, parents, and staff to make AAG an even better school. Thank you for entrusting your daughter’s educational needs with the staff of AAG.

Dr. Katrina Franklin

Superintendent
