Greetings AAG students and parents,

Welcome back to another exciting school year at AAG as we continue our new normalcy. As many of you already know, my name is Dr. Katrina Franklin and I am from Texas. I have been in the field of education for 27 years. This school year makes my 14th year working in Kuwait. My employment in the U.S. and Kuwait has given me invaluable knowledge and experience at the Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, and High School levels. It will be those experiences coupled with my credentials that will be a great resource to aid me in my position as Superintendent.

AAG’s Mission, Core Values, and the Profile of a Graduate will be my guidelines to ensure our students exhibit academic integrity, responsibility, effective communicators, collaborative skills, and understand and respect the need for diversity and inclusion. Ensuring our students are learning and developing these skills will lead to them becoming better critical-thinkers, problem- solvers, and global citizens.

In order for our students to be successful it will take a collaborative effort from the students, parents, and staff. The staff and I are here to serve and assist you whenever needed. We look forward to another great year at AAG through continued positive relationships with the students, parents, and staff to make AAG an even better school. Thank you for entrusting your daughter’s educational needs with the staff of AAG.
